ISO 45001 is the new international standard for OH&S and has been designed to support businesses that want to minimise workplace risks and create safer conditions in all operational environments.

ISO 45001 was introduced in 2018 and is set to replace the pre-existing OHSAS 18001 standard for OH&S in 2021, giving businesses a three-year transition period to prepare for and meet the new requirements.

“Star was previously accredited to the OHSAS 18001 standard but when the new accreditation was introduced, we decided that we wanted to immediately pursue 45001 in order to give our customers the upmost confidence in the quality of our service delivery. I’m pleased to confirm that we achieved this, over a year before the transition deadline.”
