Star Alkalinity Control is a formulated liquid alkaline concentrate developed for corrosion and deposit control in boilers.
It provides the basic alkalinity on which successful water treatment depends. The formulation reduces the need for maintenance, allows efficiency to be maintained and can extend the operational lifespan of the boiler and its components.

Without the correct precipitation and subsequent blowdown of hard water salts, scale deposits form, resulting in the restriction of water flow, ineffective heat transfer and local corrosion. The end effect would be an inefficient boiler and ultimately component failure. Treatment stops this occurring. Corrosion due to acid conditions must be avoided.
