Star Autotreat 22372

Find out more

Star Autotreat 22372 is an innovative multifunctional program that combines the most advanced boiler internal treatment chemistry, oxygen scavenger and condensate corrosion inhibitor with new TRASAR technology plus state-of-the-art diagnostic, monitoring, feed, and control equipment.

The treatment is designed for steam boilers with higher hardness water makeup, higher oxygen levels in the feedwater, and a pressure below 41 bar.

Star Autotreat 22372 is a very flexible program during hardness upsets, keeping the surfaces clean for less corrosion and more equipment protection.

  • Helps to maintain optimum heat transfer and system efficiency.
  • Online dosage control and fast, accurate field test analysis using TRASAR technology.
  • Reduces maintenance and cleaning costs and potential for boiler failures.
  • Reduces corrosion and maintenance costs by residual oxygen in the boiler feedwater.
  • Reduces corrosion in the steam condensate system.

  • 25 ltrs (00950068)

Directions for use

  • Star Autotreat 22372 is a blend of sodium sulfite, polyphosphate, a proprietary polymeric dispersant and a neutralising amine for the entire steam and condensate system.
  • The required dosage will depend on water chemistry and site specific parameters.

  • Star Autotreat 22372 should be fed via a closed system. A closed system is defined as a system in which fluid is moved from a closed storage vessel into a treated media without exposure to the atmosphere except through normal venting or pressure relief devices.
  • Use a stainless steel quill for product injection.

  • Storage and application equipment ( pumps and lines ) should be made of PVC, PE, Teflon or stainless steel.
  • Do not use aluminium, brass or carbon steel in contact with the neat product.

  • Use of protective equipment such as goggles and rubber gloves recommended when handling chemical products.
  • Protect from freezing and from exposure to high temperatures.
